The college process is a test of your serious nature. People frequently tell me about their ambitions, goals, and desired outcomes. But rarely do I hear about their willingness and commitment to doing the things necessary to achieve the desired results. 

Our Advanced Placement plan is designed to provide you with a knowledge-based strategic plan and all the necessary scripts, templates, and tutorials. 

As Bill Belichick said, “I am a coach, not a doctor. I call plays. I don’t do surgeries.”

I am your coach; I call the plays. I train the players. Your job is to execute the plays. We’re playing to win the biggest game in your child’s life.

Advanced Placement means we will advance your position of strength with colleges, create unique advantages for your child, and give you control of your outcome, not deferring that to the colleges or others.

We begin with extensive talks. From there, we’ll create a personalized college list, one that matches your qualifications, interests, and needs for specific colleges.

We create a personal marketing plan, complete with questions to ask during college visits. It’s your child’s path to “connecting” with the key decision-makers beyond casual emails. 

We’ll help plan college trips to include meeting with Admission Counselors– the upfront decision-makers and your anticipated department of study– the end-game coordinators.

It all leads to getting to the right colleges, meeting the right people, asking the right questions (we have those), and answering their questions with vision and insight. This represents our proactive approach.

I’ll assist in the writing of your child’s essays and the application process. We work diligently to submit early, complete, and interesting applications by September 30th. 

Our students follow up with Admission Counselors until we get our desired outcome.

We work on the Financial Award Package until we’re satisfied with the cost.

We work hard to understand a student’s deep internal desire and interest for college studies, and how those studies correlate to career opportunities.

In the end, we make the right decision —the one that takes into account all factors for college success and satisfaction. We don’t chase and we don’t guess.
